About
Hi, I’m Kamal.
I’m a product designer who turns ambiguity into clear, human‑centered experiences. At Amazon, I design learning and AI tools for Customer Service teams around the world. I like taking an idea from a rough sketch all the way to working software, and the things I’ve made are used by thousands of leaders and managers.
I’ve been designing for over ten years. It started in college and grew when I was an associate, making visuals for my team’s events. Today, I listen to people, sketch ideas, test them early, and keep improving until things feel simple. I also enjoy building what I design, so I often write the front-end code myself, with help from AI tools like Figma Make, Kiro, and Cline.
I live in India and grew up in Hyderabad. When I’m not designing, I’m probably geeking out about space, playing games, or practicing Japanese on Duolingo. I’m not sure it’ll be enough when I finally visit Japan, but I’m trying.
If you’d like to chat about my work, or anything else, say hello.
